How Datalex transformed Aer Lingus's digital retailing using its in-house PSS
Aer Lingus, the Irish flag carrier and part of the IAG group has worked with Datalex for over 15 years. Over the years, Datalex has supported Aer Lingus in their digital retailing ambitions, by building digital foundations through 'Astral,' which is its proprietary PSS (Passenger Services System).
Datalex and Aer Lingus early on decided to work together on a joint technology strategy roadmap which leverages the latest in digital commerce innovation. This gives Aer Lingus the ownership, control, speed and agility to future-proof its digital retail strategy. As Aer Lingus has an in-house PSS, these real-time controls and agility are absolutely essential to Aer Lingus from a technology-modernisation point of view, but also in order to remain competitive and agile in the market.
